CECILIO MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

CECILIO MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Cecilo has upgraded select models of their student level trumpets with Monel pistons. Monel is a series of stainless metal alloys, primarily composed of nickel and copper, with some iron and other trace elements. It is resistant to corrosion and acids. Monel is typically more expensive than stainless steel and pistons made of Monel steel are often used in professional trumpets. The Monel pistons are currently available on models TT-280, TT280G, TT280BK, and TT-280BL. Plans are in place to upgrade all trumpet models by the end of 2008.
